2004 PACT Workshop |
| The last workshop of the season. There were
various educational games for the children.
The infants/toddlers (all walking) had a race.
Parents had to ask them to bring blocks from
the other side of the room. Then the parents
helped the child stack them. The first to
stack up to six blocks won! |
| The Pre-K-Kinder had a scavenger hunt. Parents
had to follow directions and help the children
find objects that resembled a certain shape.
The school-age children had to complete an
obstacle course. First they solved a math
problem, then put together a sentence, then
wrote it on the chalkboard, and then had to
put together 14 triangle pieces together to
form an "X". |
| We ended the workshop with a piñata
and awarded children with certificates of
participation and gift bags. The gifts were
purchased by Leaps and Bounds Day Care for
all families in Migrant Head Start and Bright
Beginnings. |
